For a longer, cleaner, and safer burn
1. Trim the Wick Before Each Use
Cut the wick to about 1/4 inch (6 mm) before lighting. This helps prevent smoke, uneven burning and wick mushrooming.
2. Let the Wax Pool on First Burn
Allow your candle to burn until the entire top layer of wax is melted (1.5 to 3 hours depending on size). This prevents tunnelling and helps your candle burn evenly each time.
3. Burn Responsibly
- Always place your candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface.
- Keep away from fans, open windows, curtains, and flammable objects.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Ensure proper ventilation.
4. Avoid Burning Too Long
Do not burn your candle for more than 3–4 hours at a time. Let it cool and reset before relighting.
5. Extinguish Gently
Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Avoid splashing the wax. Do not use the lid to extinguish unless it’s designed for that purpose.
6. Store with Care
Keep candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to preserve fragrance and colour.
